The doctor from the “Intergin” Polyclinic in Shuto Orazari called us and told us that there was a woman who was in front of their gates and was in a very bad state of health. The woman has nowhere to go because her relatives do not accept her at home and she has been on the street for several days.
In the beginning, we called the Center for Social Affairs – Shuto Orizari and explained the woman’s situation, and from there we got an agreement that she is not a user of social services and precisely because of this: IT IS NOT IN THEIR JURISDICTION.
We called the Police Department – Shuto Orizar, they told us that THEY CAN’T HELP HER IN ANY WAY, and that we, as a non-governmental organization, should help her somehow.
hen we called the point for the homeless – Red Cross, but we didn’t get help from there either, but only an answer that THEY HAVE NO PERMANENT STAY EXCEPT IN EXTREME BAD WEATHER CONDITIONS.
Previously, together with “Intergin” Polyclinic, we called “Emergency”, but they hung up on us, and when they picked up the phone, they fought with us!
For more than an hour, the ambulance did not come, and the woman’s condition worsened even more and it became difficult to speak and she lost consciousness several times!!!
In the meantime, since no one responds from the emergency services to send a vehicle, we try to report by phone to the State Health and Sanitary Inspectorate, where no one answers! Fortunately, after an hour and a half, an ambulance arrived and took the woman to the Military Hospital.
Unfortunately, the competent institutions do not react despite the fact that it is a working day and working hours.
From here we ask the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy DO THERE NEED TO BE VICTIMS FOR THE BODIES THAT ARE WITHIN THEIR JURISDICTION TO REACT?!
How long will you ignore us in your own country???
