Association Initiative for Women’s Rights from Shuto Orizari works in several areas: social rights, health rights, discrimination, sexual-reproductive rights, family and gender-based violence, returnees from abroad. We, as a non-governmental organization that operates in Shuto Orizari and other municipalities where the Roma population lives, have a big role because the population recognizes us as a women’s organization that helps realize the rights of Roma women. Also, our organization is known for accompanying the competent authorities in order to exercise some right of the Roma, for the field activities in Shuto Orizari and in other municipalities where the Roma population lives, and for helping in the filling of documents and forms for the exercise of rights.
