Competition for freelance engagement for 2 (two) field associates

 

The engagement is open within the project “Monitoring and access to health,
social and sexual-reproductive rights among the Roma” (supported by the Foundation
Open Society Macedonia).
The position opens from August 1 until October 31, 2023.
Description of the engagement:
The hired persons are expected to be responsible for the following tasks:
It is responsible for recording case studies for violations of health, social-family and sexual-reproductive rights, as well as discrimination through
field work and provides education and information for the realization and protection of rights.
It offers information on the method, conditions and necessary documentation for realization and protection of health, social-family and sexual-reproductive rights.
Drafts acts for the realization and protection of rights (requests, petitions, emergencies) and
fills out forms, forms and documents in cooperation with the legal advisor.
Conducts field information/educational sessions and mobilization of
the population to defend their rights from Shuto Orizari, Topana and Chair and in others municipalities in which the Roma population lives, in accordance with a predetermined monthly rate schedule in coordination with the contact person for field workers.
Participates in organizing and conducting educational workshops from Shuto
Orizari, Topana, Chair and other municipalities where the Roma population lives.
It achieves cooperation and communication with civil society organizations, and with relevant ones institutions, with the aim of promoting family and gender-based rights
violence against Romani women from Shuto Orizari.
Refers and, if necessary, accompanies clients in the authorities, organizations and the institutions in which they can exercise their rights.
Refers clients to legal counsel in cases where they require legal counsel
help.
Promotes the service of offering services and informs the community about the services,
the help and support they offer.
He attends the trainings organized by the Initiative for the Rights of
the women of Shuto Orizari or other organizations and at least once are monthly
includes in additional activities related to the project.
Attendance at coordination meetings and reflection meetings
organize in the offices of the Women’s Rights Initiative Association from
Shuto Orizari and the contact person for field workers.
In carrying out its activities, it directly cooperates with the Contact person.
The engagement provides for 4 (four) working hours, 2 (two) days a week and the fee
is $12 (USD) GROSS, per shift, calculated in Denar value.

Candidate(s) should meet the following conditions:
Completed secondary education;
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office;
Solid knowledge of the English language;
Excellent communication skills and assertive behavior;
Built teamwork and self-initiative skills;
Sensitization for working with marginalized and socially excluded groups
citizens.
An advantage will be considered:
Work experience in the civil sector,
Work experience in working with marginalized and socially excluded groups
citizens.
