The engagement is open within the project “Monitoring and access to health,
\nsocial and sexual-reproductive rights among the Roma” (supported by the Foundation
\nOpen Society Macedonia).
\nThe position opens from August 1 until October 31, 2023.
\nDescription of the engagement:
\nThe hired persons are expected to be responsible for the following tasks:
\nIt is responsible for recording case studies for violations of health, social-family and sexual-reproductive rights, as well as discrimination through
\nfield work and provides education and information for the realization and protection of rights.
\nIt offers information on the method, conditions and necessary documentation for realization and protection of health, social-family and sexual-reproductive rights.
\nDrafts acts for the realization and protection of rights (requests, petitions, emergencies) and
\nfills out forms, forms and documents in cooperation with the legal advisor.
\nConducts field information\/educational sessions and mobilization of
\nthe population to defend their rights from Shuto Orizari, Topana and Chair and in others municipalities in which the Roma population lives, in accordance with a predetermined monthly rate schedule in coordination with the contact person for field workers.
\nParticipates in organizing and conducting educational workshops from Shuto
\nOrizari, Topana, Chair and other municipalities where the Roma population lives.
\nIt achieves cooperation and communication with civil society organizations, and with relevant ones institutions, with the aim of promoting family and gender-based rights
\nviolence against Romani women from Shuto Orizari.
\nRefers and, if necessary, accompanies clients in the authorities, organizations and the institutions in which they can exercise their rights.
\nRefers clients to legal counsel in cases where they require legal counsel
\nhelp.
\nPromotes the service of offering services and informs the community about the services,
\nthe help and support they offer.
\nHe attends the trainings organized by the Initiative for the Rights of
\nthe women of Shuto Orizari or other organizations and at least once are monthly
\nincludes in additional activities related to the project.
\nAttendance at coordination meetings and reflection meetings
\norganize in the offices of the Women’s Rights Initiative Association from
\nShuto Orizari and the contact person for field workers.
\nIn carrying out its activities, it directly cooperates with the Contact person.
\nThe engagement provides for 4 (four) working hours, 2 (two) days a week and the fee
\nis $12 (USD) GROSS, per shift, calculated in Denar value.<\/p>\n
Candidate(s) should meet the following conditions:
\nCompleted secondary education;
\nBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office;
\nSolid knowledge of the English language;
\nExcellent communication skills and assertive behavior;
\nBuilt teamwork and self-initiative skills;
\nSensitization for working with marginalized and socially excluded groups
\ncitizens.
\nAn advantage will be considered:
\nWork experience in the civil sector,
\nWork experience in working with marginalized and socially excluded groups
\ncitizens.<\/p>\n
