Grading card from the community is a is research with which for the tenth year in a row we can see the approach to the services meant for Roma women reproductive rights from Suto Orizari in the time frame of pregnancy, giving birth and the first few months of motherhood during the pandemic.<\/p>\n

Roma women from Suto Orizari in 2021 were faced with hardships while trying to obtain their reproductive and sexual rights especially during the pandemic caused by Covid-19 and lack of a gynecologist in Suto Orizari.<\/p>\n

Because of these the Initiative for women rights from Suto Orizari started with representing so that we could fix the long-lasting problem of the lack of a gynecologist which came up again after the gynecologist left the municipality in January 2020<\/p>\n

As a result, Roma women in their reproductive period fell victim to risk and making additional payment, they were also faced with the risk of catching the Covid-19 virus while going to other municipalities just so that they could go to a gynecologist. In the last days of April 2021. In the polyclinic of Suto Orizari a gynecology office was built that proved primary services to Roma women from Suto Orizari.<\/p>\n

The research paper confirmed that Roma women have a hard time while obtaining their health rights. With not having self-identification, part of the Roma people dont \u00a0have health insurance which excludes them from getting needed primary services.<\/p>\n

The research showed horrifying result in the topic of visits made by medical experts during pregnancy and after giving birth. Only 2% of Roma women were vised by medical experts in their pregnancy even though their policy says that women should be visited at least twice. The research also shows that illegal payments are done to Roma women.<\/p>\n
