Namely, the Outpatient Clinic in Shuto Orizari is constantly in a bad state, despite the fact that a small part of the corridor was renovated a few months ago with the help of donations. The offices of the family doctors and the corridors were completely flooded from yesterday’s storm, so patients and employees are exposed to the risk of the electrical installation. The roof of the Health Center is incomplete, i.e. it needs full renovation! The water that spills down the corridors of the Outpatient Clinic is a risk for patients who are waiting in line to perform the necessary analyzes and examinations. The very water that flows in the corridors is harmful with bacteria that the patients inhale, and a large part of them have chronic diseases.

Yesterday’s storm caused the greatest damage in Intergin PHU, where the largest number of children are examined. Such damages in the Outpatient Clinic in Shuto Orizari happen constantly even with the slightest rainfall.
Today, people came to the Shuto Orizari Outpatient Clinic for damage assessment, but they determined that they will pass it on to the competent persons for further action, and until then they determined that the facility is safe.

We remind you that:
According to the law on protection and rescue, every institution is required to have an evacuation plan and accompanying things, such as people to provide first aid, to open doors, make space for evacuation, all technical things that every institution should have . Everyone should have plans so it doesn’t come to any consequence.

We, as an Association, appeal and indicate to the Ministry of Health and the Skopje Health Center to immediately prepare a plan for the renovation of the Shuto Orizari Health Center, including the complete reconstruction of the roof of the Shuto Orizari Outpatient Clinic. Immediately appoint a manager who will manage the premises of the Outpatient Clinic, which will enable equal, safety conditions for the smooth running of health events in the Outpatient Clinic – Shuto Orizari. We must not allow the citizens – the patients of Shuto Orizari to further expose themselves to health and safety risks.
